Craig & Sally chose Homeless Oxfordshire (HOx) as their Captains' Charity for 2025.
Following Craig’s tragic death in February, Tony
has fully embraced this choice and HOx will continue to be the Captains’ Charity for the year. Although most of us may not have personal experience of homelessness, we have all witnessed people struggling with challenges as a result of their lives being shaped by trauma and disadvantage. The team at HOx provides an open door that offers safety, stability and support when it is needed most. The charity can house over 170 people at any one time. They are also specialists in supporting those whose complex needs are often the result of life-long challenges such as poverty, childhood trauma, substance and alcohol use, institutional care, and deep social exclusion. Their residents are mothers, brothers, aunties, cousins. They are artists, cooks, teachers, veterans. The passionate, diverse, skilled and dedicated team we have met make a huge difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness in Oxfordshire. We hope you will join us in supporting the amazing people and projects that make HOx so special.
