The Sudbury House is a Grade 2 listed building, originally a distinguished Georgian home but latterly known in the area as the Sudbury House Hotel. The hotel was purchased in June 2013 by West Midlands business man who immediately started transforming the building through sensitive refurbishment and the addition of antique furniture and sculptures and stunning artwork.
It is in this part of the Sudbury House Hotel in Faringdon that Restaurant 56 is situated, a new fine dining restaurant under the helm of Michelin star award winning chef, Andrew Scott which opened its doors mid-February 2014.
Our story does not end with the addition of our new restaurant as continuing plans include the tasteful redecoration and refurbishment of all our 49 bedrooms, the bar, lounge and reception areas and also the addition of a more informal brasserie style restaurant overlooking landscaped private rear gardens.
Guests who play at Frilford Heath Golf Club are offered preferential rates at Sudbury House, please ensure you quote the company name Frilford Golf Club Ltd when you book either by telephone or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
